Even if the bug was an accident on Facebook’s part, Mayer said in an email that the FTC can bring enforcement action for privacy mistakes.

The company is saying that this was happened accidently when Facebook is trying to build a new way for people to share the featured items on profiles, including photo albums and posts. Accidently, they made the posts public for all suggested audience.

But by any means, surely peoples posts and albums got public even they don’t want to public it and does not want the same.
