Who We Are

This policy describes how ITS Technology Solution Private Limited (“itSimple”, “we”, “us”) collects and processes personal data when you visit our website at itsimple.in, fill out a form, download a guide, apply for a job, or otherwise interact with us.

itSimple is registered in India under the Companies Act and is committed to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Where applicable, we also adhere to GDPR principles for users in the European Union.

What Information We Process

We collect only the information you provide directly through our forms, plus minimal technical data your browser sends automatically:

• Contact details — name, work email, phone number, organisation, designation
• Career applications — resume / CV, professional history, role applied for
• Communications — messages you send via contact forms, emails, or callback requests
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited (via standard server logs)
• Marketing consent — when you opt in to a newsletter, guide download, or webinar

We do not use third-party analytics trackers (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) on this site. We do not sell your data. Ever.

Purpose & Legal Basis

Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data based on either your consent or to fulfil a legitimate purpose as defined under Section 7:

• To respond to your enquiries and provide requested information
• To deliver downloadable guides, reports, and educational content
• To process and evaluate career applications
• To send transactional emails (e.g. download confirmations, application receipts)
• To improve our website’s performance and user experience
• To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations

Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with the following categories, and only when strictly necessary:

• Service providers — SMTP and email infrastructure providers who deliver our outgoing messages on our behalf, bound by data-processing agreements
• Regulators & law enforcement — when required by Indian law or a valid court order
• Vendor partners (Veeam, Commvault, Druva, Atempo) — only with your explicit consent, e.g. when you request a vendor-specific demo or proof of concept

We do not transfer personal data outside India unless the recipient country provides an equivalent level of protection, per DPDP Act Section 16.

How Long We Keep Your Data

• Enquiry data — retained for 24 months from last contact, then deleted
• Career applications — retained for 12 months from submission; longer only with your written consent
• Server logs — rotated after 90 days
• Email communications — retained for 7 years where required for tax / regulatory compliance, otherwise 24 months

What You Can Ask Us

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights:

• Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to correction — ask us to update inaccurate or outdated information
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Right to grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Data Protection Officer
• Right to nominate — designate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
• Right to withdraw consent — revoke your consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing

To exercise any of these rights, email dpo@itsimple.in with the subject line “DPDP Request”. We will respond within 30 days, as required by the Act.

How We Protect Your Data

We’re a backup & data-recovery firm — data protection is what we do every day. Specifically:

• All form submissions are transmitted over TLS / HTTPS
• Uploaded files (CVs) are stored with web-server access denied and randomised filenames
• Email transmission uses authenticated SMTP with TLS encryption
• Server access is restricted to named engineering staff with two-factor authentication
• We conduct quarterly internal restoration drills to verify backup integrity of all internal systems

What We Store on Your Device

This website does not use marketing or behavioural cookies. We may set a minimal session cookie when you submit a form, used only to prevent duplicate submissions. No third-party tracking cookies are loaded.

Users Under 18

Our services are intended for business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please email dpo@itsimple.in and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page and, where appropriate, communicated to active customers by email. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
